BlueSmoke is an innovative housing market research and advisory services company. The company was established in September 2006 by Jonathan Smoke, a housing industry veteran with experience in consulting, analysis, strategic planning, market research and technology.  That unique set of skills and experiences led Jonathan to explore a better way to study housing markets and make better decisions leveraging the best intelligence available.  Jonathan produces powerful insights and analysis with the help of his colleague, Bill Russell.

We aren't your typical market research consultants.  We take both a macro and micro approach and we uniquely leverage consumer segmentation, demographic and psychographic data to put a human face on housing and provide a basis for real estimates of housing demand.

We partner with multiple consultants and data providers to produce the best analysis for our clients (and our partners' clients).  So think of us as a service bureau for any housing market research, planning or analysis need.
